Dodge has announced pricing and details for its all-new 2024 Charger Daytona, marking the brand's first foray into all-electric muscle cars. The new Charger aims to maintain Dodge's performance heritage while embracing electrification.

The 2024 Charger Daytona lineup will launch with two high-performance models:
Charger Daytona R/T
- Starting price: $57,790 CAD
- 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque
- Includes standard Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade
Charger Daytona Scat Pack
- Starting price: $89,790 CAD
- 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque
- 0-100 km/h in approximately 3.3 seconds
- Quarter-mile in about 11.5 seconds
- Includes Track Package and Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade
Electric Powertrain and Charging
The Charger Daytona boasts an all-electric 400-volt dual motor system with standard all-wheel drive. Dodge asserts that it will qualify for up to $12,000 in government rebates, including up to $5,000 federal and $7,000 provincial incentives.
Prospective buyers have the option to select between two charging packages: the Free2move Charge Home Package, which includes a 48-amp Level 2 charging station, or the Free2move Charge Go Package, which offers public charging credits.
When utilizing a Level 3 DC fast charger, the Charger Daytona demonstrates impressive charging capabilities, able to replenish its battery from 20% to 80% in just over 27 minutes.
Standard Features and Technology
The 2024 Charger Daytona models come standard with an array of impressive features. These include a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a PowerShot feature that provides a 40 horsepower boost, and multiple drive modes including Auto, Eco, Sport, and Wet/Snow. Advanced safety features such as automatic emergency braking and lane management systems are also standard across the lineup. For those seeking enhanced performance, the Scat Pack model offers exclusive features like Donut and Drift modes, Launch Control, and Drag Mode, further elevating the driving experience.

Production and Availability
Two-door Charger Daytona models will begin production in summer 2024, with four-door versions following in 2025. The Charger Daytona will initially be available at dealerships in British Columbia and Quebec before expanding to other Canadian markets.
Dodge emphasizes that the new Charger Daytona will be produced at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, reinforcing its commitment to Canadian manufacturing.
