Night Hawk Brings New Black Magic to 2024 Jeep Gladiator

As the moon dramatically eclipsed the sun earlier this week, Jeep unveiled a package that will cast its own dark shadow over the midsize truck segment - the sinister 2024 Gladiator NightHawk edition.

Debuting in appropriately celestial fashion, the new NightHawk option gives the rugged Jeep Gladiator Sport S model an even more menacing blacked-out appearance. It also enhances the truck's already impressive off-road prowess with a host of beefed-up performance components.

The $8,195 NightHawk package is highlighted by gloss black 20-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, providing maximum traction over the roughest terrain. A body-coloured hardtop ties the shadowy look together.

But the upgrades are more than just cosmetic. The NightHawk adds heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles with a 3.73 ratio and an anti-spin rear differential for improved articulation over rocks and ruts. Rock rails and black bumper accents enhance protection for when the trails get gnarly.

Only 2,000 NightHawk editions will be available across the U.S. and Canada when ordering opens later this month. With a starting price of $67,435 CAD, this exclusive package injects some premium content into the already capable Gladiator Sport S.

The 2024 Gladiator itself receives some noteworthy updates for the new model year as well. Newly standard are advanced safety tech like side curtain airbags, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. The Uconnect 5 infotainment system brings a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen and wireless smartphone integration. 

Under the hood is Jeep's stalwart 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the Gladiator can tow up to 7,700 lbs and haul a best-in-class 1,725 lb payload in its versatile cargo box.
